ABOUT US Alternative Billing Solutions originated November 2008 and is located in McHenry, Il. Patty Shutt, owner and operator of Alternative Billing Solutions has over 17 years of Chiropractic office experience, including front desk procedures, customer service, billing and collections, (which include commercial insurance, Medicare, Workman’s Compensation, and Personal Injury), accounts payable and receivables, patient statements, and patient care. Although Chiropractic billing has been her specialty, she also has continued success billing for Physical Therapy, Lab, Orthotics, General MD, & Neuropsychology.
She has attended seminars from Medicare, Cross Country University procedure coding with ICD-9 & Chiropractic coding & billing and documentation, Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Other training includes a Medical Billing Certificate and Understanding HIPPA certificate from MedicalBillingCourse.com, and a CA certificate from Integrity Management. She continuously attends seminars and webinars to keep current on the changes in insurance billing procedures.
